Nurse Aide . Personal Care Aide . CPR Training . In-service Training
Nursing Assistant / Nurse Aides (CNA)
Class duration: Eight (8) weeks
Class days: Monday-Thursday
Class hours: Day 9:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Evening 4:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.
Our Nurse Aide Training Program is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing (VBON). We use the VBON Nurse Aide Training Program Curriculum newly revised each time.
The program prepares the student to work as a Nurse Aide under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
Founded in 2013, the school has produced numerous Certified Nurse Aides & some have taken two and three steps forward in their careers. Our graduates work in various healthcare facilities and in private homes.

In our training program, students acquire knowledge and skills competency necessary to perform basic personal care needs such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and taking vital signs to patients/residents in all types of healthcare facilities, private duty & home care in the client's own home.
Program Goals
The program provides knowledge, training and focuses on competencies required of each student to successfully complete the program. Each student will be able to learn and perform learner objectives for each unit of the curriculum content. There are three parts to the program:
- Classroom lectures on curriculum content.
- Skills laboratory (lab): Video watching, practice with demonstration and return demonstration to gain confidence in the skills needed to be competent in giving care.
- Clinical experience: Students take the knowledge and skills techniques learned in the classroom & the skills lab to a healthcare facility to give care on an actual patients / residents to gain confidence in their skills.
Evaluation Method
Each student is evaluated by written test, observation, and skills demonstration in the lab and clinical facility.
Certificate
Students completing the total training program hours with a minimum passing grade per school policy and satisfactory grade in the clinical area receives a certificate with the school’s name and program code.
After a student receives program completion certificate, the student becomes eligible to apply to test for the Virginia State Competency Evaluation (NNAAP). The graduate is guided in the testing registration process.
Personal Care Aide
Approved by the Virginia Department of Medical Assistant Services (VDMAS)
Duration: 10-12 days
Class days: Monday-Thursday
Hours set per each class group by the instructor.
CPR / First Aid Training
American Heart Association module for healthcare providers and all other caregivers. First time and recertification clients.
In-Service Training Requirements
Nurses, Nurse Aides, PCA /HHA and all others needing in-service training for license recertification.
